OVERVIEW
Cambridge Associates' Private Investment Multi-Disciplinary Team (PIMDT) is responsible for auditing fund data, the cash flow and valuation figures extracted from fund managers' financial statements before they're finalized into Cambridge Associates' benchmark database.
As part of a design team, I worked on redesigning strategies of how DIT Analysts, Processing Analysts, and QC roles audited this data, moving them from a fragmented, manual process across Excel, email, and disconnected internal tools into a single unified platform.
MY ROLE
As part of design team, I led the research and journey mapping phase: conducting user interviews and shadowing analysts in their real workflow, building personas from that research, and mapping both the current-state and future-state audit journeys that shaped the platform's direction.
OVERVIEW
Patient 360 reenvisions the existing patient support platforms (Medallia, Qualtrics, Verint and others) already live and pulling in structured patient data through AI and machine learning. On paper, it had everything it needed. In practice, teams working inside it are stuck, KPI selections that produced blank charts instead of insight, no personalised direction on what to do next, and a rising cognitive load from a system that had data but no decision logic.
Rather than a full platform rebuild, this was a focused proof of concept: take two of the highest-friction domains like Access Solution and Voice of Customer, and redesign how each team could deep-dive into their own data independently, with clear guidance from insight to action.
MY ROLE
I owned this project end to end, from mapping the two domain stakeholders in this ecosystem around the platform, to diagnosing why the existing KPI logic was failing, to designing the individual Access Solution and Voice of Customer workflows following the Laws of Heuristics.

Consolidated a five-tool process into one platform, so checking documents, validating numbers, and tracking audits happened in one platform.
2.
Closed the gap between manual assigning, audits now belonged to someone the moment they were flagged, instead of doing it manually over email.
3.
Moved hand-offs and communication onto the audit itself, tagging, correcting, and validating could happen in-platform, without leaving to email someone or hunt for a file.

The DIT Analyst tags the issue (asset class, time period), adds a comment, and assigns it to a Processing Analyst, by email.
The Processing Analyst checks their email, opens AACS, opens the input tool, and pulls up the original source PDF to manually verify the number.
They correct the error and send it forward, again by email, to QC.
QC repeats a near-identical manual check across the same tools, then sends it back to the DIT Analyst for final validation.
